Eat Right. Be Strong.

Today I learned that it’s very important to eat healthy foods to keep your body strong. My daddy and I visited a website about healthy eating named Learn to be Healthy It has some fun learning games to play.

Did you know that you need to eat a lot of different kinds of food to keep your body healthy? I learned that my body needs:

Calcium for strong bones and teeth
Protein for strong healthy muscles
Carbohydrates for energy
Fats (the good kind) to keep my body temperature just right
Vitamins and Minerals to make sure everything in my body works well
Water to keep my body running smoothly

My puppy eats healthy too. The special doggy food I give him has all the good stuff my puppy needs to stay healthy and strong.
