I’m a Little Teapot

Today was a snowy day. My friend Hana came over to play. We had a tea party. We made tea with our juice and made little baby sandwiches. First we got some soft bread. Then we spread some peanut butter and jelly onto the bread. Mommy helped us cut them into cute shapes using a cookie cutter. We also made some cheese sandwiches with the cookie cutter. My favorite was the strawberry and cream cheese sandwiches. Yum Yum!

Then we were dressed up all fanciful with our lovely hats and feather boas. Then we sang I’m a Little Tea pot over and over until we giggled too much. I have a book with all kinds of fun fingerplays and action rhymes. It’s called The Eentsy, Weentsy Spider . My mommy says it has all her favorites plus one’s she has never heard before. She says learning these fingerplays is good for my memory and coordination. I say it’s just fun.
