Hermit Crabs
I went to the beach today with my daddy. We saw a hermit crab. I picked it up and let it crawl on my hands. Oh, it tickled. Daddy told me that hermit crabs do not have very hard shells so they use other animal’s old shells. When they grow too big for their shell, they have to go and find a bigger shell to live in. On the way home, Daddy and I stopped by the bookstore. We found a nice book by Eric Carle. It is called A House for Hermit Crab. I can’t wait to read it.
Here’s a fun crab cut-out for you to download and make. Have a rocking time.
